Rodenstein - Electric Superbike

Rodenstein superbike is the world’s first full electric endurance motorcycle. It will be released in two versions. The production racer called „Werksrennmaschine“ Rodenstein is designed for competition purposes and will be available in several configuration stages. The black Rodenstein electric superbike will be available only in a limited amount. It is equipped with special details like illuminated air ventilation and an exclusive swingarm.  The video is showing Gauss electric motorcycle form Hochschule Darmstadt, an early prototype.

Fast Changeable Battery

The core of the electric superbike is its Li-Ion energy storage system. Within seconds, an empty battery can be changed against a fully charged one. The energy storage system can be charged with a Rodenstein fast charging station off board and on board. The Rodenstein charging station also supports data recording software to analyse telemetry data of the vehicle.

Water cooled Battery Modules

It is equipped with 12 high power water cooled Li-Ion battery modules and it is fast changeable. The modular structure of the energy storage allows an yet unknown flexibility. Service is efficient and it can be equipped with different Rodenstein battery modules. For example, you can have a battery setup for time lap (ultra light weight, short range), sprint (light weight, mid range) or endurance race (mid weight, high range).

Special Charging Station

The energy storage system can be fast charged with a Rodenstein charging station off board and on board. The Rodenstein charging station also supports data recording software to analyse telemetry data of the vehicle. With the mobile Rodenstein fast charging station you can charge two batteries simultaneously. Be on the track while charging up to two additional batteries to have no interruptions.

Special Charging Station

The new designed chassis is fully adaptable to the race track and the pilots needs. For example the steering head angle, height and the length of the swingarm are adjustable.
